FAREWELL:

Mr John Rocca (11 years) and Miss Cath (9 years) who has been on LSL, are going to live in Coolgardie where John will work in John Paul College Kalgoorlie. Miss Yvette (2 years) is going to St Mary’s Boyup Brook. Miss Alida (one year) is going to another school, Miss Jo (one year) to John Paul College Kalgoorlie.

How do we say thank you to John Rocca for his years working with your children? I know his heart is full of love and respect for the students and you the community. Thank you John for the constancy, hard work, fun, sport and computer expertise you have taught yourself to help the school. We respectfully acknowledge with gratitude the experience, stability and practical applications we lose by your departure. Thank you for your cooperation and help. (I know that the dogs you care for will miss the nutritious food you give them each day)
I wish each of the departing teachers every blessing in their teaching vocation and may Ngapuny bless you and keep you happy and strong.

Looking to 2007:
We need Teaching Assistants to help in all the classrooms.
It will be the 40th Anniversary of the Referendum that gave Indigenous People the right to vote. This is something we need to think about and understand what it meant for our old people 40 years ago and for us now.

May everyone have a happy and safe holiday. With a grateful heart I pray that Ngapuny will keep showing you the wonder of all creation and that you will know Ngapuny’s Spirit of love and peace deep in your heart.
